A housekeeping supervisor is a manager responsible for overseeing a team of housekeepers in a hotel, resort, or other large living space. They manage the daily operations of the department, including scheduling and assigning tasks, training staff, and ordering or maintaining cleaning supplies and equipment. Housekeeping supervisors ensure that rooms are cleaned to high standards, and they often conduct inspections to ensure that work is completed correctly. In addition to managing staff, supervisors must also communicate with other departments to ensure that guest needs are met and be able to handle customer complaints.
